How to Make a Graduation Photo Banner

Simply2Moms

Photo banners are a great way to add a personal touch to any party. They can be used for birthdays, graduations, weddings, or any other special occasion.

What You'll Need:

– Cardstock – Photos – Paper trimmer – Double-sided adhesive – Mini clothespins – Ribbon or twine – Hooks - Tape Measure

First, use a tape measure to figure out how long your banner should be and decide how many rows of pictures you want to display.

Next, choose the photos you want to use and get them printed. I used photos from my son's school years: kindergarten through 12th grade for this banner.

Trim the photos to a uniform size, or keep them 4x6. Then trim cardstock that coordinates with your party's color scheme to be 1/4-inch longer on each side. I cut my photos to 3.75x3.75 and cut the paper to 4x4.

Now, assemble your hanging supplies. I used 1/4-inch ribbon in the school's colors. Tie a knot to make a loop on one end. Removable hooks are a great option to hang the banners.

If you use removable hooks, be sure to hang them the day before your party to give them time to cure. Don't leave any slack in the ribbon or twine or the photos will end up hanging too low.

Use mini clothespins to attach the photos to the ribbons or twine to create your photo display. If the display is hanging in an opening like this one, you can put photos on both sides of the paper.
