Make a Drop Zone in Your Garage!

Simply2Moms

Our house didn't have a mud room or a drop zone so we tried to make one in our garage but it just wasn't working well.

We shifted the freezer and gained an extra 30-inches at the foot of the landing and got to work from there with a budget of $250.

After clearing everything away, we started by making a storage bench.

Some beadboard covered the damaged drywall, and then it was time for paint!

We redid the shoe storage to make it taller and wider with shelves that weren't as high so we could fit more shoes.

More paint helped to make everything look bright and less like a garage.

We added hooks for jackets &  backpacks.

We turned this unfunctional garage space into...

A space that worked for our family of five! All for less than $250.
