How to Upcycle Cans to Make a Unique Party Centerpiece

Graduations, birthdays, showers, & anniversary parties are all great times to display photos as part of your decorations. This simple craft is a great way to decorate without spending a lot of money!

What You'll Need:

- Recycled 28 oz. cans - Chalk paint - Paint brush - Hot glue gun - Hot glue sticks - Ribbon - Floral foam - Faux flowers - Cake pop sticks - Mini clothespins - Cardstock - Photos - Scissors or Paper trimmer - Adhesive - Burlap fabric

Remove the labels from the cans, wash and dry them. Then paint them with chalk paint.

Use hot glue to attach the ribbon to the cans. You can layer different types of ribbon if you like.

Use hot glue to attach mini clothespins to cake pop sticks or dowels.

Use photo adhesive to mat photos with cardstock..

Cut the florist's foam to fit inside the cans. This will hold the sticks in place. You can use burlap, fabric, or ribbon to cover the foam.

Clip  photos, quotes, graduation year, etc. to the pop sticks. Add faux flowers if desired.
