  • 16 oz tomato sauce
  • 3 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 Tbsp liquid smoke
  • 2 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp black strap molasses (optional)
  • 8 Tbsp Lakanto Monkfruit granulated sweetener (see notes for equivalent low carb sweeteners)
  • 1 Tbsp smoked paprika
  • 1 Tbsp dark chili powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt


  • Mix together all ingredients in a small, heavy saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a simmer. Reduce heat to low and simmer uncovered for 30 minutes, until thickened, stirring occasionally.
