Use this pear simple syrup in cocktails, salad dressings, or for a unique topping over pancakes and waffles.
Simple syrup is essentially sweetened water.
When you’re making a recipe that you need to sweeten and don’t want to worry about the sweetener dissolving, a simple syrup is the best way to go.
Simply dissolve the sweetener in boiling water and let it simmer for 15 minutes.
You can also infuse flavors into a simple syrup for more variety.
