A few years ago, I gave my builder basic fireplace an upgrade with a little bit of molding on the mantel and then used chalk paint on the marble surround.

I always love changing out the decor on my mantel and hearth with the seasons.
But that large rectangular mirror has hung in that same spot for over fourteen years.

Shopping on the Wayfair website is so easy! I also really love using their app on my phone.

This makes it so easy to compare multiple items you love in one spot!
Wayfair also has so many filters when you search. The filters make it simple to find items that fit in perfectly with your home’s style and color scheme.
You can even filter based on price and customer ratings!
I used a custom list to help choose the perfect statement piece to hang over my fireplace.
I shared some of the options I considered, and you’ll see it was a tough decision. Wayfair had so many great choices!
In the end, I decided on this gorgeous 40-inch round mirror with beveled glass panes.
Look at what a difference that simple change makes to the overall look of the fireplace!
Heck. It really changes the whole look of the room!
Look at how the curves of the mirror break up the linear look of my family room.
Plus, the scale of the mirror feels like it works better in this space over the mantel.
Even though both mirrors are the same height, it was a struggle filling in the space on either side of the rectangular mirror.
Not anymore!
Those gorgeous curves fill in the wall space perfectly.
In fact, the new mirror inspired me to pull out my Halloween decor to try out a new look!
It was so much easier to decorate my fireplace mantel thanks to this one simple change.

Wayfair had a great turn around time for shipping. The box arrived within three days of my order!
The packaging included a stryfoam cushion on all six sides of the mirror (top, bottom, sides, front, and back).
