Who loves to have an occasional night out? Me! And I know Anne does too! Only because we are often together when we go out! Haha! We are super lucky that our husbands are also great friends which makes it fun for all of us to go out together. Now that our kids are all teenagers it’s so much easier to leave them home and go out with just adults. These outings usually include a couple of adult beverages. We are lucky enough to live fairly close to several wineries. Did you know that wine is allowed on the Trim Healthy Mama plan both Anne and I follow? We enjoy going to the winery after touring hours to see local bands playing during the summer. And although touring is closed we still get to taste some delicious wines.

complete with a little wooden bridge, waterfalls, and brook. It’s the perfect setting for an evening out!
We bring our own low carb picnic to eat as we enjoy the scenery, wine, music and oh, of course the company! Since we are indulging in our beverages we keep our munchies on plan. Eating picnic style is simple to bring along in a cooler and then set up an amazing spread once we get to the vineyard.
Our spread included guacamole, pimento cheese, veggie dippers, blue cheese olives, roll-ups with wonder wraps, and Genoa salami…
we also enjoyed Simply2Moms low carb cannoli cream with cinnamon lavash dippers & berries
The wine was smooth, the food delicious, the music fabulous and the time with friends priceless!
