Happy Sunday friends!
We hope you had a beautiful week.
It was a busy one for us with blog work.
And the weather got a bit chilly again here in North Carolina…what’s that all about?
It’s the end of April isn’t it supposed to be warm?
I guess I shouldn’t complain because before we know it summer will be here and we’ll be sweating.
We got to see Kenny Chesney last night and his performance was amazing!
Going to concerts, especially country music shows, is one of the things we love to do with friends.
We’ve got a few more shows coming up in the next couple of months that we’re excited about.
AnnMarie’s Week
I’m finally finishing up the bathroom project Chris and I started waaaay back in January.
Just a few more little things to get done and then we can check this one off our list.
I don’t know about you but it seems to take us forever to get DIY projects done.
I have a design dilemma I need your help with.
The mirrors I bought on Facebook marketplace last week don’t look as great as I thought they would now that they are hung up in the bathroom.
I’m not sure about the color which I knew when I bought them and had planned to use some gold rub ‘n buff on them.
But now seeing them hung I think they’re too small.
Tell me what you think in the comments below…give it to me straight!
Anne’s Week
There hasn’t been a ton going on this week around my home.
Life is really quiet when all the kids are out of the house!
Everyone in our family has several kitties, so we all stay connected sharing funny kitten pictures and stories each day.
We found three 4-week-old kittens under the house we were renovating back in September and ended up keeping them in the family.
My son and his girlfriend adopted two of them, and my daughter and her fiancée adopted the third (plus another one!)
Meanwhile, my daughter who’s still in college fosters kittens for the local animal shelter with her roommates.
Their latest foster kitten is only 13 ounces (ounces!) and was abandoned by its mother.
So yeah.
I’m that person.
Actually, we’re that family!
When I wasn’t exchanging texts with my kids, I’ve been busy creating some tasty recipes that I can’t wait to share with you soon.
