I recently gave my front porch a much-needed update. The first thing I did was refresh my front door with paint and a few other details.
In the 12 years we’ve lived here we had never repainted our front door.

Metal, Steel, or Cast Iron Benches
Any of these materials are great low maintenance options for your new outdoor bench.
And there are so many pretty different styles.

Although it’s not intended for outdoor use you could easily add a coat of polyurethane to the bench and if it’s used under a covered porch or outdoor area you should be just fine.

What’s better than sitting on your front porch rocking or gliding the day away?
We were hoping to get a rocking bench but unfortunately, we didn’t have enough space on our small front porch.
But wouldn’t one of these just be so fun?

All-Weather Polywood Bench
If you want a super low maintenance outdoor bench then Polywood is a great option.

This Trex Yacht Club all-weather Polywood bench was the way to go for us because we definitely wanted low maintenance.
It comes in 2 sizes 48″ and 60″. We bought the smaller size and it fits perfectly on the side of our small porch.
