Check out this roundup of fall pie recipes, featuring everything from classic pumpkin pie to pecan pie, and all kinds of pies in between. With so many delicious options to choose from, you’re sure to find the perfect pie to bake this season.

We love entertaining and host lots of cookouts and barbecues during the hot summer months.

But when the temperatures begin to fall, we kick up into high gear when it comes to hosting!

It’s so fun to have friends over for a holiday brunch, book club, Friendsgiving, Christmas, New Year’s, and even just because.

When we first moved to our neighborhood, I hosted several holiday cookie exchanges.

There’s nothing like spending time with friends and sharing cookies and cocktails!

Until now…

What if, instead of cookies, we served pies?

Welcome to our Virtual Dinner Club!

We joined up with four of our blogging friends to create a virtual “dinner” club back at the beginning of 2021.

Each month we invite a guest host to join in our fun. This month, our friend Diane from South House Designs is joining us from Missouri.

Diane is a joy to be around (we’ve met her in real life!), and is the driving force behind a thriving blog and Etsy shop.

If you’ve been around Simply2Moms for a little while, then you’ve seen her gorgeous linen table runners all over our homes and her one-of-a-kind custom stockings on my mantel.

Every month we choose a new theme, and even though we call ourselves a dinner club, we’ve shared ideas for breakfasts, brunches, luncheons, and cocktail parties too.

First, we all share ideas to create a tablescape for that theme, and then we each share a recipe for the theme to create an entire menu.

This month, AnnMarie set up a fantastic buffet display that you don’t want to miss!

Be sure to check out all of our virtual dinner club tablescapes and menus!

This month our theme is a Fall Pie Party!

What’s a pie party?

The term is new to us, here in North Carolina, but apparently, this kind of party is fairly common in the Midwest.

A pie party is basically a kind of potluck party where each guest brings their favorite pie recipe for everyone to sample.

Wouldn’t that be an amazing idea for Friendsgiving?

Instead of making another whole turkey dinner, why not invite all your friends over and everyone brings their favorite pies?

You could even turn it into a friendly competition, sort of like a chili cook-off, but with pies.

This month, all our supper club friends are sharing their favorite fall pie recipes. I can’t wait to give them a try.

Let’s take a look!
