Happy Memorial Day Weekend!

It’s been crazy busy around here lately!!

I feel like we’re saying that every week…and last week we didn’t even send out our weekly Simply Stated.

Do you feel like this at the end of the school year?

Even though our kids are older it still feels like a super busy time of the year.

Congratulations to Livy & Katy, Anne’s girls, who graduated last night!

Be sure you’re following us on social media because we will be sharing some of the celebrations over there.

Did you see all the amazing decorating Anne did for the party? So pretty!!!

Now lets hope the rain holds out today! Fingers crossed!!

Although it’s not officially summer yet…here in NC it feels like summer…hot & humid with thunderstorms.

This week on the blog we got together with our friends for our monthly virtual dinner club.

I decorated my dining room with a fresh new tablescape for our summer party.

summer dinner party ideas with lemons and mason jars filled with candles and flowers

Anne shared her Lemon Pepper Grilled Shrimp recipe.

A platter of grilled lemon pepper shrimp on a bed of lettuce garnished with a lemon half.

Be sure to click the links to get all the details for my tablescape and Anne’s recipe.

And we shared our friends outdoor summer tables for even more inspiration.

Plus the rest of our summer dinner party menu.

You don’t want to miss it!

Have a great weekend!!

  1. This is a crazy busy time of year for parents. At a graduation party yesterday, I was telling the mom of a graduate that I didn’t know how she had time to work during May. It seemed like every single evening there was something to attend. Enjoy your Memorial Day weekend!

    • It’s so fun to come up with a new theme each month for the virtual dinner party! 🙂
Such a great weekend celebrating Anne’s girl’s high school graduation. Hope you had a great weekend!
