9 of the Best Ways to Use Greenery for Christmas this Year

Learn how to decorate a festive holiday home with these simple and affordable ideas to use greenery for Christmas.

One of our favorite ways to decorate our homes for the holidays is with greenery.

Trees in all shapes and sizes are a super important part of our Christmas home aesthetic.

See how we use mini trees here and check out our meaningful Christmas trees here.

But we’re always looking for ways to incorporate even more natural greenery.

There’s just something special about adding winter foliage to our holiday home decor.

We adorn our fireplaces, shelves, cabinets, and tabletops inside with Christmas greenery.

Outside our front porches and patios get dressed up with greens too.

We use garlands, stems, picks, bushes, wreaths, sprays, swags, and more to style our holiday homes.

Fresh clippings, garlands, and wreaths are gorgeous but not always the best option for your space.

Faux greenery has come a long, long way in recent years.

The best thing about fake is it never dries out and can be used year after year.

We love to use both real and faux greenery in our homes.

And don’t be afraid to mix clippings from your backyard with fake greenery.
