Hey there, friends! This past week I noticed that our mornings and evenings are feeling just a little bit cooler.
Of course, “cooler” is a relative kinda term, isn’t it? For me, cooler in August means upper 70s/low 80s. LOL
BUT! As soon as I feel that chill, my mind turns to all things pumpkin. Do you do the same thing?
Well then you’ll definitely want to whip up this Pumpkin Spice Latte Custard Shake! It’s the perfect shake for this time of year when you’ve got the fall feels, but it’s still sorta feeling like summer outside.
This weekend, while sipping on one of those shakes, I started looking at some of my favorite stores online and I saw so many gorgeous, neutral fall decor finds!
After book marking 2,384,942 pumpkins, I realized I might have an issue.
Or maybe it’s just an infatuation?

Confession time: I fell in love with a lot of things from Pottery Barn, and Anthropologie, and Crate and Barrel. But I just can’t justify spending that kind of money on seasonal decor.
Today I’m sharing some of my most favorite budget-friendly fall finds with you. These are the kinds of things that give you the look of those higher end stores without the sticker shock.

Neutral Fall Decor Finds
Creating Fall Vignettes
When it comes to fall decor, I love adding warm wood tones. And what better way to add those warm wood tones than with slices of actual trees?
These Natural Basswood Chargers would be so fun to use in a fall tablesetting, but they’d also be great to layer with other items to create a cute grouping on a coffee table, or standing on edge on a shelf. So would this Acacia Wood Cutting Board
Can’t you just picture one of those chargers or that board with an adorable Tweed Fabric Pumpkin and two of these Natural Wood Pillar Candlesticks on top?
So cute, right?
Or maybe top one with a grouping of these pretty Miniature Amber Glass Apothecary Jars with sprigs of Dried Natural Yarrow or this Artificial Seed Grass Bush inside.
It’s so fun making little fall vignettes all around your home!
This gorgeous Basket with Leather Handles is new at Target, and it’s coming to my house for sure. It’s such a versatile basket that would work during any season. I can just picture it filled with this bundle of fluffy Pampas Grass for fall!
Another pretty container to use for a gorgeous fall vignette is Target’s Distressed White Pot. I’m loving those handles and that distressed finish! Picture it filled with some natural stems of dried wheat or branches with autumn berries.
I’m also a little obsessed with vintage amber glass bottles right now. So when I saw that Chip and Joanna included some pretty amber glass bottles in their Hearth and Hand line I knew I had to share them with you!
Can you imagine how gorgeous these bottles would be with some of these golden Aspen branches?
Getting Your Cozy On!
This is the time of year where my husband and I like to play “chicken” with the thermostat: who’s gonna cave first and turn on the heat?
Please tell me I’m not alone in this?
Oh good!
I don’t know about you, but even though I might be a little stubborn, it’s also usually me who caves. Maybe I need more pretty throw blankets like this cream knitted one, or this autumn plaid wool!
Or maybe I need both…
These cozy throws would coordinate so beautifully with these pillows and pillow covers. The beige buffalo check pillows would work in your home for any season. Then sprinkle in a fall-themed pillow like the burnt orange Fall Sweet Fall pillow, or that adorable pillow with a cable knit pumpkin applique, or maybe the playful pumpkin spice pillow.
And you can’t forget one of the best ways to feel cozy during the fall: candles! I just adore all the autumn scented candles! I could spend hours sniffing all the delicious scents in Kirkland’s and Target and Bath and Bodyworks.
Give me ALL the pumpkins!
Last year I tried something new on my fireplace mantel. Just thinking about it makes me smile! And also make me want to buy even more pumpkins…

It’s amazing what you can do by layering different pumpkins.
The two keys in making a cohesive display: picking a color scheme and lots of texture.
You could combine these velvet pumpkins (you can buy a trio or just one), with this burlap pumpkin, these three muslin pumpkins, and this cream pumpkin with a twisted stem. They would be amazing together!
You could even mix in this large cream stitched pumpkin, or this set of chenille pumpkins. I love the rough texture of the rattan twig pumpkin, or this pretty woven pumpkin! And a large natural wood pumpkin would add something special too.
Wreaths and Swags
One of the easiest ways to add a little fall in your home is with a wreath. AnnMarie shared a fantastic selection of colorful fall wreaths here. You’ve got to check them out!
But I found a few more that I fell in love with so I’m adding them in here!
I’m a sucker for wreaths made from dried wheat, and when I saw this stunning swag I knew I had to have one!
I also love the idea of that small magnolia leaf wreath with the white pumpkins. It’s such a sweet way to add a little something extra to a chair or another small space.

Decorating with Words

Tabletop Fall Decor
I love adding some fall to my kitchen table too. Did you see my fall centerpiece featuring a unique skinny linen table runner?
I also love this white chambray striped table runner. I’ve included one item today that’s a little over $35, and that’s this pretty magnolia and wheat crate centerpiece from Kirkland’s Home. But, if you use one of their 30% coupons, it’ll be under $35! I love that you can take it apart and use the crate for other centerpieces. Add a few of these miniature pumpkins around it for a finished look.
