We’ve had a busy but short week around here with celebrating the Fourth of July and spent lots of time enjoying the outdoors!
So today we’re sharing our favorite outdoor spaces and some of the items we can’t live without.
We work together to share simple and budget-friendly ideas for decorating, recipes, DIY projects, and tips for life with older teens (and beyond!).
It always seems like one of us or actually, more than likely both of us, are in the middle of a project.
Whether it’s a room makeover, testing a new recipe, or planning an event.
And the more we work the less time we have to browse around a store and shop in person.
To get all the things done each week we both do a lot of online shopping.
We shop for décor items, kitchen supplies, and everything in between.
And since we already love to share budget-friendly ideas with you, we thought it would be fun to show you what we’re shopping for every Friday!
We may even share some personal favorites we love too.
An awesome outfit or makeup product we find along the way!

AnnMarie’s Faves This Week
Cantilever Umbrella
My favorite time of the year is summer but dang does it get hot down here in the south.
A huge umbrella is our best friend when we’re sitting down by our pool patio.
This offset umbrella is perfect to provide some much-needed shade from the hot sun in between cooling off in the pool.

Metal Pergola
Another outdoor space where we love to hang out is this patio on the side of our house with our DIY fire pit and seating area.

The metal pergola has a removable shade cover that adds some extra shade to the seating area when we really need it out there.
But my favorite part of this outdoor area is the amazing string light sets we received from AQ lighting.

Storm Shell Outdoor TV Cover
As you can probably tell already reading this post we really love our outdoor spaces.
Since a covered screened porch isn’t an option for us, we decided to somehow make our back deck work better for our family.
So, last year we decided to hang a television on the back of our house. Check it out!
And since this area isn’t protected from the elements, we bought this storm shell cover and it’s worked out perfectly for over a year.
Trex Bench
Although, our front porch is a bit small we’ve been able to enjoy some serious porch sittin’ with this Trex bench.
I love that it’s made of Polywood which makes it so simple to take care of…just a quick cleaning every once in a while and that’s it.

Anne’s Faves This Week
Wood Gazebo
A few years ago we added this wood gazebo on the patio next to our pool behind our home.
Honestly, I wasn’t thrilled with the idea when my husband, Kevin, first mentioned it because I didn’t think we had enough space.
But it’s become my absolute favorite place to hang out!
I even love to sit out here in the winter with a cozy blanket & a fire going in the fire pit while watching a movie on our outdoor tv.

Outdoor Roller Shades
We tend to sit under the gazebo in the late afternoon and by then the sun is setting behind our house and hits us right smack in the face.
And then it gets pretty hot with that sunshine beaming in!
So, we found these awesome outdoor shade rollers and hung two of them along the inside top beam of the gazebo.
Now, when that pesky sun is at a bad angle we just pull down the shade!
Outdoor Ceiling Fan
We also added not one but two outdoor ceiling fans under the gazebo.
And wow, what a difference they made!
Between the shades and the fans, we feel so much cooler back here even on the warmest days.

Front Porch Rocking Chairs
Our front porch is one of my favorite places to decorate each season.
And these rocking chairs provide the perfect spot to add a pop of color for the season, like this red on my patriotic-themed summer porch.
The rockers also give us a fun spot to sit during a summer shower and watch the rain come down.
