Deck the Halls Like a Pro: 30 Tips for Decorating Christmas Trees

Make your Christmas tree look its best this year! We’re sharing everything you need to know about decorating Christmas trees, from creating a festive theme and DIY ornaments to mistakes to avoid.

When I was a kid, I can remember going shopping with my mom at some stores that had the most beautiful Christmas trees I’d ever seen.

They were themed trees, each one filled with ornaments that coordinated.

Sometimes I was allowed to choose an ornament to bring home for our tree, and the decision was always so hard!

I tried to pick the perfect ornament that I’d admire every year when we decorated our family’s tree.

Our tree was filled with a hodge podge of sentimental ornaments that we collected over the years. Beautiful in its own right.

Now, with Christmas trees of my own, I still have a family tree filled with memories. But I’ve also started decorating some themed trees each year.
