Happy Weekend!

We’ve had a mix of rain and sun this week.

And some of our flowering trees are in full bloom! Yay!!!

We both have pear trees in our front yards and they look so pretty right now.

It’s definitely feeling like spring by us.

How’s the weather been by you?

A few random thoughts for you this weekend…

1. Always wear a shirt when curling your hair! Someone (me…AnnMarie) was trying to get ready fast the other day and may have dropped the curling iron on a sensitive spot…ouch! Who knew a quick pass with a curling iron as it fell would leave such a burn?

2. Lunch and a day of antique shopping with your BFF is good for the soul. Even if you have to wear a mask it feels so good to get out and do something fun! Call a friend and plan something this week. We promise you’ll enjoy yourself so much!!

3. Eat to Evolve offers healthy premade meals delivered right to your door that are perfect for those busy days or nights. We are both loving them as they fit into our Trim Healthy Mama lifestyle. And our husbands have even enjoyed a few meals too! Don’t forget to use our code: SIMPLY2MOMS to receive 15% off your first order.

We had a great week on the blog!

If you’re ready to entertain again AnnMarie shared a super fun idea to create the ultimate popcorn bar for your next party.

Have you decorated for spring yet?

We both love decorating with greenery!

We were part of two blog tours with some amazing fellow bloggers this week.

The first was a tour “Bloggers Best Spring Home Tour” with 30 talented bloggers all sharing their spring homes. There was so much beautiful inspiration on the tour…you’ll have to check it out!

AnnMarie shared her ideas for spring decor in a dining room on the tour and you can get links to all the other bloggers at the bottom of the post.

The second tour this week was our monthly supper club with our friends Stacy from Bricks ‘n Blooms, Jen from MidWest Life & Style, Michele from Vintage Home Designs, and Rachel from The Ponds Farmhouse.

We each share a tablescape on the last Thursday and a recipe on the last Saturday of each month that goes with a theme for that month.

Anne styled a beautiful natural table with lots of green for our spring brunch.

And you will need to try this amazing low-carb asparagus ham twist recipe Anne created for the spring brunch. So good!
