Amazon Winter Top Try On

If you’ve read some of my other clothing blog posts (I’ll link them all at the end of this post) you may know that I’ve got a few hang-ups about my figure.

Don’t we all?! Ugh

However, I’ve lost a little bit of weight over the past year and I’m feeling so much better about myself.

I’ve found as I’ve gotten older no matter what my weight may be that year, it’s important to dress in clothing that makes me feel confident.

I love to shop on Amazon because I can order several styles to try on in the comfort of my own home.

Then keep the pieces I love and return anything that I don’t feel great in.

Because we should look in the mirror and feel good about ourselves, don’t you think?

I also find it helpful to read the reviews on Amazon especially those that share their stats so I can determine what something may look like on my body type.

Here are my stats for your reference:

  • Height 5’6″
  • 145 lbs
  • 36C bra (although I need to get new bras because they’re a little big now guess I lost some weight in my boobs too…lol)
  • medium or large top (depending on the style)

If you have any questions just leave them in the comments below or send me an email.

Let’s get started and check out the winter tops I tried on…

Chunky Knit Sweater

This knit sweater has chunky lantern-patterned sleeves and a round neckline.

I’m wearing a medium in the black color.

This sweater is made of a soft acrylic fabric and comes in 19 beautiful color options.

It’s made by PrettyGarden and I have several items from this manufacturer that I love.

This sweater is a great basic that goes perfectly with your favorite jeans.

You could dress it up with a colorful scarf or a pretty necklace too.

Twisted Cable Knit

This twisted cable knit sweater is so cute with the different patterns mixed throughout.

It also has a lantern-patterned sleeve and a crew neck like the previous sweater but it’s a bit shorter.

Definitely not a cropped sweater but short enough that you don’t need to give it a front tuck for shape.

I’m wearing a medium in the color khaki.

There are 8 color options in this acrylic sweater.

Ribbed Hoodie Sweater

I find myself grabbing this sweater to wear over and over again because it’s really comfortable and soft.

The long-sleeved ribbed knit sweater has a casual hoodie and some distressed edges which are fun.

I think a v-neck is more flattering on me than a crew neck.

I’m wearing a large in the red-brown color.

Unfortunately, this color is no longer available but it does come in 8 other great colors!

This sweater is more loose-fitting so I like to tuck the front into my jeans.

Oversized Cable Knit Sweater

This oversized updated modern cable knit sweater design is so pretty and unique.

The neck fits me more like a mock turtleneck than a crew neck as shown in the product photos.

It’s another style from PrettyGarden and is made of 60% cotton and 40% acrylic.

I’m wearing a medium in the color coffee.

This relaxed-style sweater is available in 10 colors.

Turtleneck Tunic Sweater

If you’re looking for a longer tunic-style sweater for leggings this one is awesome.

It’s made of 50% viscose, 30% nylon, and 20% polyester so it has a bit of stretch and feels so soft.

The ribbed knit turtleneck has drop shoulders and slits on both sides.

I like the slits on the sides to prevent a long sweater from clinging to my behind.

It’s also a little longer in the back than the front which makes it perfect for leggings.

I’m wearing a medium in the color coffee although it looks more like the rust color in person.

There are 12 color options to match any leggings you have.

Waffle Knit V-Neck Shirt

This waffle-weave knit top is super cute but not super warm.

Anne has this top too and wears it comfortably all winter.

So it really just depends on how hot or cold you run.

It would be great as a layering piece in the winter but is versatile enough to wear throughout the year.

I love the flattering curved v-neck line with faux buttons.

It’s made of 65% polyester and 35% rayon and has a soft slouchy look.

There are 18 color options and I’m wearing the light grey in a large.

V-Neck Blouse

This v-neck blouse may be my new favorite dressy top.

I love the pretty pleated elastic and ruffle cuff details.

It would be great for work but also looks pretty with jeans and a pair of booties for a night out.

Although it’s not warm it is definitely chic and comes in 7 color options.

Long Sleeve Fitted Layering Shirts

Do you love the look of a bodysuit but hate the hassle of wearing one?

This 3 piece shirt set may be just the piece you need in your winter wardrobe.

This top is made of 90% nylon and 10% polyester so it’s soft and smooth.

I was surprised by just how thick these shirts actually were despite my reading that in the reviews.

They are figure-hugging and great for layering.

I bought the black, beige, and white set in a medium but there are 16 color combination options.
