Only 2 weeks until Christmas!!
Are you ready?
We finally went to our local farmers market and got our tree on Wednesday, when my son came home from college.
Oh boy, have the prices of real Christmas trees gone up around here…geez!
It’s a beautiful tree!
We decorated it together last night.
It’s so fun going through all the ornaments we’ve collected over the years and taking a walk down memory lane.
I buy each of my kids a new ornament every year and add their name and date on it.
Both Anne & I have meaningful trees in our homes.
Do you have a sentimental tree?
Anne came over Friday afternoon and helped me finally finish decorating my house.
I’ve had bins out all over the place since Thanksgiving but just hadn’t found the motivation to be creative and get everything done.
Sometimes it’s hard to come up with different ideas using the same Christmas decorations, so it’s really nice to have a friend look at your holiday décor with a fresh set of eyes.
Thank you Anne!
Next time you want to change up the look of your home décor, whether it’s holiday decorating or not, grab a friend and have them help you.
This Week On Our Blog
It’s been a busy week again around here with some fun stuff on Instagram.
Keep reading to find out what we’ve been up to!
I updated my outdoor decor again this year.
If you were here last year you may remember I made new super easy bows to update my 10 year old outdoor greenery & window swags for our house.
But since we got our house painted this summer and changed the color of our shutters, I felt like I needed different colored bows on my window swags.
So, I made new fluffy bows and they’re so pretty and simple to make!
